Below is a list of all the Sony VAIO recovery discs that can be found on the internet.
Some are uploaded by us, some aren't, and so we offer no liability, please use at your own risk, not that there is one anyway.
Recovery discs have multiple names: Recovery Discs, Recovery Disks, Recovery Media, Recovery Media CD, Recovery DVD, Recovery CD.

Compatibility Problems
A method that bypasses model checks has been found! We are currently developing a patching program! See development status here.
Some of these recovery discs only work on the model they are intended for (model example : VPCZ11C7E), and not on the entire series (series example : VPCZ1). In some cases it's even worse, they only work on the unit they were created with.
This creates a problem. Even though those discs would perfectly work on the machine you are trying to install them on, they are locked from installing. The VAIO Libary is currently working on a fix for this problem, make recovery discs work on the entire series they are intended for.
How to use this list + additional information
To use this list, you can use the search function of your browser (CTRL+F), imput the series name (example PCG-C1), not the exact model number ! You can also visit the page of whatever series/model you are searching for, and if recovery discs are available, they will be listed in the downloads section.
We do not make a difference between languages, you can sometimes change the language after the install.
When multiple recovery discs are available for one series, we list all of them, and instead of just listing the name of the series (example PCG-C1), we list the series + exact model name (example PCG-C1 (PCG-C1XD)).
System Recovery is also called Disc 1, and Application Recovery is Disc 2.
