The Sony VAIO VGN-BX294VP is a Business-Class Notebook released by Sony in 2005. Larger versions of this laptop are also available.
The Sony VAIO VGN-BX is a Business-Class notebook computer series released by Sony in 2005, and they were avaliable in 14.1", 15.4" and 17" display size.


It includes a 14.1 XGA display with a 1024x768 resolution.  
They came in a silver finish. Only the 14.1" version of the VGN-BX has a magnesium alloy case. The 15.4" and 17" models have a plastic build and are 16:9 (Widescreen) instead of 4:3.


It came in a silver colour, bodied in a Magnesium-Alloy case. The Pentium M 740 with Intel GMA 900 graphics was included with this laptop along with Windows XP. It also includes 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM which is user-replaceable.
