The Sony VAIO VGN-FT was released in early 2006 in Japan as a midrange multimedia laptop. With its large 15,4" WXGA screen and range of multimedia features, it was designed to be a competent mobile media device. These features included a Sound Reality chip for better sound, a Remote, DVD Super Drive and a build in TV Tuner. This makes the VGN-FT excellent for watching movies and TV on the go.
