Overview
The VAIO VGN-TX is a subnotebook released in 2005 by Sony. It sets its focus on portability over everything else. Thats why the VGN-TX could be seen as a low-end device when compared to Sonys other offerings from the time. Nontheless, the VGN-TX suprises with its quality and design, spoting a metallic gray carbonfibre case. What makes this case special is the fact, that is a single unit, meaning that there is no seperation beween the upper and lowercase. This results in a very sturdy and durable, yet light and comfortable case. Just like the maincase, the displaycase is also made from carbonfibre, as well as the keyboard. With these materials in such a small formfactor, its a wonder, that the VGN-TX only weighs around 1.28kg.
