Summary
The Sony VAIO VPCB is a business-centric notebook computer series released by Sony in 2010. The series is based on VGN-BZ, its predecessor, and only a few changes were made, including the newly released Intel Core i-series processors, new motherboard architecture, DDR3 memory, inclusion of HDMI port, and replacing the PCMCIA slot with an ExpressCard 34 slot. Apart from that, the machine is exactly the same as its predecessor.
The series is notable for being the last VAIO laptop to feature a 16:10 display, and the only 2010 VAIO model to feature 2008-styled ring power button. It is also the last generation of business-centric Sony VAIO computers, as later models have all shifted to consumer-focused. The series is also rare as it was only released in Japan and a few European countries.
